Inhumane coward left dog to die

This letter is to the inhumane coward who hit the dog and left him to die Sunday on Winnipeg Street. He was a medium-sized dog and the sun was out, so there is no way you could not have noticed that you hit him.

This letter is to the inhumane coward who hit the dog and left him to die Sunday on Winnipeg Street.

He was a medium-sized dog and the sun was out, so there is no way you could not have noticed that you hit him. Even if he ran in front of your vehicle and you didn't have a chance to stop, the humane and kind thing to do would have been to stop and see if you could help.

He was wearing a dog licence so it would have been easy for you to find his owner. I don't understand how you can live with yourself.

His name was Blue and he was six years old. He got out of his fenced yard through an inadvertently left open gate. He was a much loved member of a family who now grieves deeply for him.

When I stopped he was still alive but obviously badly hurt. He died in my arms when I picked him up. I will be haunted by this memory the rest of my life. I hope you see this letter and think about how many lives you have affected by your cold-hearted action and if, heaven forbid, this should happen to you again, you act differently.
