Knife missed by security

I just thought I would bring something to the attention of travellers. I tend to carry a Swiss Army pocket knife in my purse. It has often come in handy when there is a loose screw or something needs cutting.

I just thought I would bring something to the attention of travellers. I tend to carry a Swiss Army pocket knife in my purse. It has often come in handy when there is a loose screw or something needs cutting.

However, when travelling to Vancouver recently I forgot to take it out of my purse. My purse went through the scanner twice and it was still missed. I didn't realize until I arrived at my final destination what I had done.

On my return flight home it was safely stashed in my check-in luggage. How many other knives are being missed on flights?
