I was interested to see who would be appointed to the Citizen editorial advisory committee.
I knew that Balli Bassi had indicated her interest, and since she is the community social and justice programs manager for Elizabeth Fry Society, I felt she would have been an excellent fit for this committee.
When I saw that not only was she not selected, but that "home making and women's issues" were lumped together as an area of expertise, I moved from being surprised, to being appalled.
