I just want to thank you, Citizen, for running "Maxim Overdrive" as your top P.G. Life story on Saturday. It's about time you stopped showcasing local artists and athletes, and focused on someone important who we can really look up to and admire: an amateur girlie-mag model.
I am filled with civic pride knowing that our city has a candidate in the running for Maxim's "Home Town Hottie" contest, and I feel sorry for the inhabitants of other cities whose newspapers chose not to run a story on their local nominee.
Shame on you, "respectable" newspapers.
Also, thank you for including a link to the contest website and encouraging everyone to vote for our local "hottie." I'm glad that you've switched from endorsing politicians to online bikini models. It's all about priorities, right.
As a city, we may not be able to get any respect, but we can certainly do our best to win this title.
