Media not engaged on electoral reform

I'm not surprised that our prime minister has done an about-face on his promise to bring about electoral reform. When I as a taxpayer look at the number of broken promises this government has done, I'm lost for words.

I'm not surprised that our prime minister has done an about-face on his promise to bring about electoral reform.

When I as a taxpayer look at the number of broken promises this government has done, I'm lost for words.

Some of the other things that the Liberals under Prime Minister Trudeau have reneged on include the F-35, home care, reduction of the small business tax and a referendum on electoral reform.

The big for-profit media (Maclean's, the Star, La Presse and some bigger chains) have been slowly steering this government away from the electoral reform issue. Makes one wonder why?

Their lack of engagement of this issue makes me somewhat disenchanted with them and question their intergity. It's maybe time for their bosses of the media to do a clean sweep and bring in some bodies who are go-getters and want to report on the issues.

This may actually increase their circulation.

A good leader must be honest and beyond reproach.
