I must object to your misleading political cartoon of Feb. 1. The suggestion that Trump's "Muslim ban" would spur Muslims to become terrorists is ridiculous. People are inspired to join winners, as when ISIS was initally overrunning Iraq and Syria and volunteers flocked to join them from Europe, the U.S. and even Canada.
Moreover, there is no "Muslim ban." What Trump did was suspend travel for 90 days from seven countries with untrustworthy governments. The vast majority of Muslims in the world live in countries that are not affected and they are still as able to come to the U.S. as easily as they ever were. The Citizen seems to be becoming a disseminator of "fake news" that the Dec. 7 editorial mused about.
By the way, Obama suspended travel from Iraq for six months in 2011. Where was all the outrage then?
