I was hoping to see some of the movies nominated for Academy Awards in the various categories including best picture, but so few have been shown at our local theatre. Perhaps we missed them. Maybe the good ones aren't popular or money makers. Some weeks it seems there's just nothing to choose from. Must be my demographic.
