Our dad, Ivor Johnson, just recently spent three weeks in ICU at the University Hospital of Northern BC.
We cannot thank Dr. Din, Dr. Johnston, Dr. Olson and the whole ICU team enough for all that you did for our dad.
We know that without your expertise and care we would not have him here with us today.
We are so grateful for any extra time we are given with him. The ICU team should be commended for all that they do; it takes a very special person to be in those conditions, dealing with such critically ill patients every day.
The attention and care that dad received will never be forgotten.
Although we truly appreciate the whole team we would like to say a special thanks to the doctors who continue to follow up with dad's care - we are so lucky to have such wonderful doctors who truly care.
To Andrea - she is not only an amazing and wonderful nurse with her patients, she knows just how to deal with their families. It gave us such comfort to know that she was on the floor.
Bouey, for always keeping an eye on things and helping us to understand.
Rav, your sense of humor and firmness with both dad and us was appreciated and understood. Belinda, you were just great, your smile always brightened his day and Natasha, your strength and warmth was very much appreciated.
We feel truly blessed to have been given this extra time with him and want to thank you all from the bottom of our heart.
Dad continues to be cared for at the University Hospital of Northern BC for which we are thankful every day for the care he is receiving.
We are also blessed to be able to be given so much flexibility to be able to spend time with him and be able to help with his care allowing us to show him how much we love him.
