Opinion: Naturopathic doctors could help with opioid crisis

I am fully capable to help these individuals if the health authority would allow me to help support this vulnerable population.

I recently read an article in the Prince George Citizen related to the plea for naturopathic physicians helping with the opioid crisis.

I am a naturopathic doctor in Vancouver. As I walk down the streets, I see desperate people on the streets, barely surviving due to their opioid addiction. I am fully capable to help these individuals if the health authority would allow me to help support this vulnerable population.

I hope that you can keep writing on this topic and help spur our medical authority to think outside of their current management of this crisis and allow a greater range of professionals to help these individuals.
