I read in the Citizen of the joy of the lucky man who won the jackpot in the Lotto 6/49 draw.
I now eagerly await a corresponding article examining the plight of the thousands of hopeful citizens who bought losing tickets in the faint hope that they might win temporary relief from pressing financial woes.
We can imagine the unlucky multitude who might have used their children’s lunch money or postponed pressing payments due on overdue credit cards.
Don’t these unfortunate folks deserve ink also?
