To be the opposite of an emotionally aggressive human, one has to learn how to train the mind.
With so many people being "dragged up" without parental or other nurturing-guidance, it is a wonder there is not even more crime in the world.
I believe that it is very unfair and totally ridiculous to state that people are "evil." Evil implies "devil," whereas, "emotionally bankrupt" implies perceiving the self as being of no value whatsoever to the self, or society.
When people do not have a sense that they are worthy of being loved, they often lash out at others as being nothing but "objects" that also are not worthy of being loved.
Religion often, but not always, teaches that many others of society out there are evil.
Having our own sense of self worth should teach us that society, as a whole, and especially religion, when labeling people as "evil," is suffering from tunnel vision that closes off the ability to further think about the issue from a totally different point of view.
It's time to delete from our minds the fear-filled belief of a devil ruling the world, and replace that archaic nonsense with positive thoughts that we are all mortal humans - yearning to be accepted and loved.
