I have to comment on the Saturday Report in today's Citizen. My wife and I both volunteer at the Rescue centre and have seen first hand the results of human neglect, and cruelty to defenseless animals. I can't think of a strong enough word to describe our disgust and anger towards those responsible. On the other hand, I can't think of high enough praise for Nicola and her family who, with very little help, take them in and care for them. People domesticated animals thousands of years ago, and by doing that we assumed responsibility for their care. It seems like we could do a much better job in that regard!
The PG Equine Rescue deserves all the help and support they need.
