Our phone hasn't worked since Sept 3rd. I called TELUS to report it. After speaking to a TELUS customer service rep, I was informed that the repair date would be October 27th - almost 2 months away! ....really?? As the days passed, I contacted TELUS a few more times and complained that the repair date was very unreasonable and unacceptable. I was told that they would refer me to the 'Escalation Department' and the manager would contact me. I gave them my email address as they certainly wouldn't be able to contact me by phone. I received an email that basically just said that he looked at the report and would try to 'pull ahead the Day of Dispatch'. I contacted TELUS again to ask if they could give me an idea of how much longer I would have to wait for the repair. They informed me that they only come out to my area (Chief Lake Road) once a month. How many TELUS repair people does Prince George have anyway...one?
I'm sure I will be getting my phone bill with my usual charges and will be expected to pay it by the due date on the statement, even though my phone service is not working. I am so frustrated and disappointed with the customer service of TELUS Communications that I will seriously consider discontinuing my business with them....oh, wait a minute, maybe they've already discontinued their business with me!
