Easter Sunday at 1:15 a.m. my husband and I were in a head-on collision on Austin Road on the Hart. Fortunately neither of us was seriously hurt, but we have suffered injuries nonetheless. This incident was terrifying and we pray that nothing like it ever happens again.

Every day since the crash we talk about this experience and how grateful we are to have come through it OK. There is one thing though in which we feel helpless, and that is being able to thank those individuals who helped us out that night. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to those who witnessed and helped us get through this difficult time. Thank you, especially to the witness who helped solve the question of who hit us and also to the woman who sat with me until help arrived. I can't tell you how much your kind words and warm hand meant to me.

We wish we could thank all of you in person, but you know who you are and this is for you.

This situation has reminded us that there are still many good individuals in the world. And yes, if the roles were reversed we would definitely be there for you.

Thank you!
