Sentence questioned

I am writing about the sentencing for Mr. Bockus who, in his truck struck and killed Mrs. Kokkonis at 10th and Winnipeg on Dec. 16, 2014.

I am writing about the sentencing for Mr. Bockus who, in his truck struck and killed Mrs. Kokkonis at 10th and Winnipeg on Dec. 16, 2014.

What bothers me is that although he had "about 20 speeding tickets, five 24-hour roadside prohibitions and one 90-day prohibition," neither of the lawyers nor the judge recommended he take a defensive driving course and that if he doesn't ace it, he should take it again.

If the roadside suspensions were alcohol related, maybe he should go to a few AA meetings or sit in at a MADD meeting.
