I really sympathize with the promoter who lost out. I am a homeowner and the value of my property and hundreds of other property owners in the VLA are substantially reduced by the activities of drugs and the gang members that orchestrate this.
When do we wake up and say "Good night, the party's over" to all gang members and their ilk. There won't be much fun being a gang member if we take away their bling. No cars, no nice jewelry, no entertainment, no security and no privacy.
I have a few recommendations I am hoping to present at the Gang Task Force seminar in November. Lets make being a gang member a poor choice by removing the incentives: money, security and nice things.
