Ticket resellers ruining it

I wish to comment on an issue which I find very frustrating. Elton John tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. My wife and I both worked hard and were able to get three single tickets (we could not get three seats in a row).

I wish to comment on an issue which I find very frustrating. Elton John tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. My wife and I both worked hard and were able to get three single tickets (we could not get three seats in a row). We purchased our tickets at 10:04 a.m. Considering that there were no pre-sales, I find it very unusual that the CN Centre was sold out within eight to 10 minutes of tickets going on sale.

At approx. 10:30 a.m. I went on Craig's List and found listings reselling tickets. One website was for four tickets for sale. The other was a reseller which had approx. 300 tickets for sale. Ticket Liquidator, another reseller had approx. 100 tickets. If you check the Internet you will find a lot more resellers with tickets.

My frustration is, why can't a normal consumer get tickets for the concert, yet all of these resellers are able to get their blocks of tickets. I really feel that pressure needs to be put on big companies like Ticketmaster to make sure that the average consumer is able to purchase tickets for events. They need to cut back on the blocks that they give ticket resellers. Thank you.
