City council gave themselves a pay raise. Now they go to the Alternative Approval Process for authority to borrow $3 million for the 18th Ave Yard Administration Construction Project.
The Alternate Approval Process states that if 5,307 electors sign response forms objecting, council must seek assent of electors before proceeding.
I say in order to proceed with either bylaw, council should seek assent of 5,307 electors in favour. Council seems to forget there is only one pot of money. My income is not keeping up. Stop spending money we don't have. When was the last time you reduced taxes?
