Up to now Trump has been the real Teflon Don. But he will be forced to resign and he knows it.
There is no way he can avoid the myriad of lawsuits being drawn up - as I write this by the Trial Lawyers Association and the ACLU - not to mention an ownership stake in at least 500 companies worldwide, with no intention of selling his interests.
I wouldn't say it was all calculated, but Trump will be forced to choose between his business empire and a four-year term at the White House.
