How about property taxes, the roads on which we drive, how neighbourhoods evolve, the state of parks, fields, arenas and swimming pools, policies governing local schools, whether fluoride is added to drinking water, what's done with your garbage, a new performing arts centre, water mains, storm sewers and so much more.
