Canadian singer-songwriter Stephen Fearing's latest musical journey will bring him to Prince George.

The multiple Juno-award winning folk-roots musician will be at Knox Performance Centre Sept. 7 for a show presented by Coldsnap, Prince George's annual winter music festival.

“Getting on stage is the fun part, especially when the adrenaline kicks in,” he says. “People want to escape and be taken on a journey. I build my shows so they do just that.”

Fearing has built an international audience for his music through countless performances at intimate venues and on the concert stages of festivals and theatres across Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Europe.

He's done this solo and as a member of the Juno-award winning band Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.

Early Bird tickets are $35 (plus applicable taxes and fees) until Aug. 7 before the price goes up. They are now available at www.coldsnapfestival.com.

The show starts at 7:30 pm, with the doors opening at 7:00 pm. The Coldsnap Cantina will be open for business, serving light snacks and a variety of beverages. Knox Performance Centre is located at 1448 5th Ave.

Coldsnap is also announcing the dates for its 2025 festival: Feb. 5-9.

"We’ve decided to condense our festival to five days to heighten the festival experience and provide more venues with many ticket-buying options," states a Coldsnap press release. "We plan to offer the same number and quality of mainstage performances and free-to-attend community workshops as previous years."

More details on the lineup will be released in September.
