A lifetime dream of taking a cruise down the Amazon River is now possible for B.C. postal worker Leo Sat after he won $675,000 with a Scratch & Win ticket.
Sat was in his Richmond home with his mother watching television when she noticed the three identical cash symbols on his Set for Life ticket.
“My mom said, ‘Leo, I think you won!’” Sat said about that evening.
“I looked at the ticket and said, ‘Oh, it looks good!’”
To celebrate, Sat will take his mother out for dinner, and then when it’s safe to do so, he will book the cruise.
That’s not the only cruise he’s planning - he plans to book one for his mother to Alaska as well.
“I would love to take her,” Sat said.
