Jayden Connors is looking forward to joining the Prince George Spruce Kings.

The Prince George Spruce Kings have a signed commitment from Jayden Connors (’07) for the 2024/2025 season.

Connors is a 5’10, 170-pound defenceman from Toronto who spent last season with the St. Michaels Buzzers of the OJHL.

He put up two goals and 21 assists in 46 games, and added a goal and two assists in 10 playoff games.

Connors is committed to the University of New Hampshire after his time in the BCHL.

“We’re excited to add Jayden to our program," said Spruce Kings general manager Mike Hawes. He’s a young, very skilled and mobile defenceman. We’re looking forward to working with Jayden on his development as he prepares for NCAA hockey.”

Connors called the chance to play for the Spruce Kings a great opportunity. "The organization is respected throughout the country and is known for having an amazing fan base," he said. "I am looking forward to working hard and becoming the kind of player that can really contribute to the success of the Spruce Kings. Playing in the BCHL means playing in one of the most competitive junior leagues in the world. The BCHL consistently has alumni play in the NHL and I am looking forward to the challenge.”
