The basement of the Ukrainian St George's Catholic Church was host to a stream of shoppers as the St. George's Easter Bazaar in Saturday, April 12, 2025. People were lined up waiting for the doors to open so they opened earlier than the posted 10am start time to accomodate them.
Prince George's larger Ukrainian population has been very busy. Whether you were looking for Pysanky (colourfully decorated Ukrainian Easter egg) frozen sauerkraut perogies, embroidered clothing and accessories, bread, baked goods, preserves, kolbassa sausage or a ready made perogy, sausage and cabbage roll lunch it was all available from the vendors at the bazaar.
