Prince George residents are enjoying some of the cheapest gas prices in Canada, with four stations dropping below 80 cents a litre.
As of 10:15 a.m. this morning (March 23), Costco is offering gas at 75.9 cents per litre, the lowest in the province.
After that, three local gas stations are offering 77.9 cents per litre, including:
- Hart Highway Husky (1746 Hart Highway near Northwood Pulp Mill Road)
- Range Road Husky (2511 Range Road and Highway 16 west)
- Tano Fuel in Shelley (1040 Whenun Road)
These are the four lowest gas prices in all of B.C. with Fort St. John's UFA gas bar rounding out the top five at 79.5 cents per litre.

(via GasBuddy)On March 10, Dan McTeague, President, Canadians for Affordable Energy, formerly of GasBuddy.com, predicted that gas prices would drop a whopping eight to 10 cents in a single day on Wednesday, Mar. 10.
Gas prices are also falling across the rest of Canada, with many stations selling well below $1 a litre as of March 20.
In fact, McTeague expected gas prices to drop to 76.9 cents per litre in the Greater Toronto Area, as well.
