BC Hydro is estimating 3:30 p.m. today (July 16) will be when Prince George residents east of the city will have their power restored.
If this is the case, 588 of its customers north of Giscome Road will have undergone almost 11 hours without power today.
An apparent fire knocked it out this morning at 5 a.m. and crews are still on-site to the incident.

11:15 a.m.
Power appears to be back on in the Hart Highlands region this morning (July 16).
BC Hydro reports power was restored to 1,172 customers just before 11 a.m. after a bird made contact with one of the wires.
However, crews are still on scene to an outage in the Blackburn/Shelley area, which has been out for more than six hours.
BC Hydro's report details an apparent fire occurred and knocked out the power at around 5 a.m. to 588 customers north of Giscome Road.
10:30 a.m.
It appears BC Hydro is tending to two separate power outages in Prince George this morning (July 16).
According to the service, a bird contacting wires has caused a blackout in the Hart Highlands region, impacting 1,172 customers since 9:47 a.m.
Additonally, residents in the Blackburn/Shelley region are currently without power since 5 a.m.
BC Hydro says an apparent fire was the cause of this outage and crews remain on site trying to restore power to 588 customers north of Giscome Road.
10:20 a.m.
Almost 1,200 Prince George residents are currently in the dark this morning (July 16).
That's according to BC Hydro, who says it's investigating the cause of the power outage in the Hart Highlands region.
As of 9:47 a.m., 1,172 customers are affected west of Strata A Road and south of Richet Street.
Crews have been assigned to the scene.
