Chad Douglas Berry, accused of breaking into an Oak Street home and stabbing and beating two women last week, appeared in Prince George provincial court on Monday.
Berry, who was arrested in Vancderhoof without incident early Friday morning, faces 17 charges -- seven counts of break and enter to commit an offence, two counts each of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and mischief $5,000 or under and one count each of aggravated sexual assault, , sexual assault with a weapon, threats or bodily harm to a third party, sexual assault and uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
Berry is next scheduled to appear tomorrow.
