The bid committee for the Canada Winter Games touches down on Monday in Prince George. This is the first stop on their tour of three B.C. cities vying to be hosts for the games when they come to this province in 2015.
The Canada Winter Games is the final step for the nation's best athletes in their push to go to the next Olympics. The bid committee has already proclaimed Prince George ready to host the games from a facilities standpoint, but they also deemed Kamloops and Kelowna has the same capacity. Now it is down to two things, according to local organizers: business plan and community desire.
