Big Shiny is a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters with a community market, adventure zone kids, a squishy twist on dodgeball, barbecue and raffle tickets for a side by side and 50/50 that all comes together at 777 Kinsmen Place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kick off spring with fun activities for the whole family. There is an adventure zone where children will have the chance to join the mentoring team for a ton of fun activities. The play equipment will also be set up in the backyard.
Community Market will feature a variety of local vendors who will show off their amazing creations and services. Come on out to support small businesses in Prince George.
There’s a barbecue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring juicy burgers fresh off the grill to fuel up after battling it out at Squishmallow Dodgeball, a friendly version of the old classic, having a blast in the Adventure Zone, or perusing the Community Market.
It’s the perfect way to tie the day together.
For burger, chips, and pop cost is a minimum $5 donation.
This year’s raffle features a 2023 side by side Yamaha Wolverine X2 850 with Karavan Trailer. The 50/50 is back, too. Tickets are on sale now at www.bigsnbc.ca and at the Big Shiny fundraiser.
