Business is booming.
At least that's what the latest numbers from city hall would indicate.
Nearly 50 new business licences were issued by city hall in May of this year.
That's up 31 per cent over the same period last year.
When combined with licence renewals, the city has issued almost 25 per cent more licences than May of 2009.
