There were no serious injuries from a car crash that tied up traffic at the bottom of Peden Hill during Tuesday's supper hour.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., a vehicle traveling eastbound on Hwy. 16 crossed the road, left the roadway and ended up in the parking lot of Winners, striking another vehicle and causing minor damage.
RCMP said no one was seriously injured in the accident, but the female driver and lone occupant of the white four-door sedan has been detained and is being investigated for impaired driving.
The incident tied up traffic at the bottom of Peden Hill.
