Canada's association of local governments is opposing a federal plan to cancel the main census forms, and Prince George's delegate to the group has extra experience with the issue.

Prince George councillor Garth Frizzell is Prince George's main delegate to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities; he sits as the vice-chair of the group's B.C. caucus. He is also a past employee of Statistics Canada.
