The City of Prince George website received a facelift this week.
The new site, www.princegeorge.ca, was developed by city staff to showcase social media communication, feature stories, daily facts, profile community champions and improve the ease of searching and navigating the site.
Frequently viewed pages and quick answers will be made available on the home page.
"Throughout extensive consultation, our myPG project stimulated great community conversations around several topics, including how to better engage and communicate with the citizens of Prince George," Mayor Dan Rogers said in a press release. "Our revised website will allow us to reach out more effectively with the public, ensuring individuals can stay connected to all the news from the City of Prince George. Communication and
engagement methods developed and practiced during the myPG project are now becoming imbedded in the city's business practices."
The City's former web address, www.city.pg.bc.ca, will also take users to the city's revised website.
