His & Her The Hair Gallery, Plush Styles Unlimited, Trendsetters Hair Studio and Day Spa, and Charlie's Girl are joining together in a fight against cancer.
Clips For Cancer Saturday is dedicated to raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Salon owners and stylists are providing donations by service, proceeds from product sales, and matching client donations, creatively giving to support continued funding of vital programs and services.
"The Fight Back campaign aims to motivate Canadians to 'Join the Fight' and show cancer that we are its number one enemy. This movement transforms the sadness and anger that cancer can cause into a powerful collective resolve to fight back and say 'enough is enough", said Margaret Jones-Bricker, regional co-ordinator at the Canadian Cancer Society, 564-0885 Ext. 115.
