During the 15 years the Prince George Community Foundation has operated, its endowment funds have grown to within a hair of $5 million, says the executive director.
Judy Neiser said the organization "had very humble beginnings operating out of a basement."
That's because the members wanted every cent possible to go back to the community in the form of grants.
