Another structure has gone up in flames at the Moccasin Flats encampment on Lower Patricia Boulevard.
City fire crews were called to the scene at about 2:40 p.m. to put out the flames, which took a matter of minutes.
They continued to douse the wooden structure with handlines and a truck-mounted hose.
While Moccasin Flats has had several fires over the last few months, most occur at night or in the very early morning.
Residents of the encampment were nowhere to be seen as fire crews worked, with RCMP officers on hand.
Crews stayed on scene for about an hour. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
Damage is estimated at $2,500.
