A Jan. 19 RCMP search of a London Hotel apartment, 1479 Third Ave., resulted in a seizure of drugs.
Investigators from the RCMP Downtown Enforcement Unit located and seized 20 grams of cocaine, ecstasy pills, methamphetamine, and various prescription drugs along with $1,000 in cash and prohibited weapons.
A 23-year-old Prince George man was arrested at the scene and charges of trafficking in a controlled substance are being recommended to Crown Counsel. The accused has been released on a promise to appear in court in April.
Police acted on information from the general public and with the assistance of local businesses in order to obtain a search warrant.
