Downtown Prince George heats up this Saturday for the first of four special Downtown Summerfest Saturdays.
This Saturday is Explore Downtown, featuring BMO Community Art Days from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Two Rivers Gallery and Canada Games Plaza.
Next Saturday (July 16) is Eat Downtown, featuring the city centre’s food and beverage scene. There will be Downtown Summerfest Saturday special at your favourite downtown eateries.
Thrive Downtown goes Saturday, Aug. 13, with special at downtown beauty and spa services, healthcare, and fitness services.
Shop Downtown goes Saturday, Aug. 20, with the merchants of Fourth Avenue closing the street to create a market atmosphere, with vendors of all types.
Speaking of markets, all three downtown markets – the Q3 Community Market at 1299 Third Ave., the Wilson Square Community Market at Third Avenue and George Street, and the Prince George Farmers’ Market at Third Avenue and Quebec Street – run from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday all summer long.
There will also be live music in Wood Innovation Square every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
