Environment Canada has ended the extreme cold warning for Prince George but temperatures won't be much warmer.
The forecast for today (Feb. 9) is calling for sunshine with winds at 20 km/h gusting to 40 km/h.
The high is -16 C with a windchill of -41 C in the morning and -24 C in the afternoon with a risk of frostbite still possible.
For tonight, there will be winds of 15 km/h and a low of - 25 C and - 26 C in the evening before dropping to a temperature of - 35 C with the wind chill during the overnight hours and risk of frostbite.
