An early-morning fire extensively damaged a Hart-area home on Wednesday.
At about 5 a.m. 19 firefighters from four halls were called to the 4000 block of Chestnut Drive where they found a fully-involved fire with the home's occupants evacuated.
Crews initiated a quick attack and extinguished the fire, Prince George Fire Rescue said, but the home, valued at $600,000, was left with about $300,000 damage. No injuries were reported.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
