A restaurant at the Hart Mall sustained heavy damage when a fire ripped through its kitchen early Tuesday morning.
A total of nineteen firefighters from four Prince George Fire Rescue halls were called to the Spicy Greens Restaurant at about 1 a.m.
"Crews gained entry and found the kitchen area fully involved. Fire personal quickly knocked down the fire but the restaurant sustained heavy damage," PGFR assistant chief Denis Poulin said.
There was no one in the business at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. An estimate of the cost of the damage was unavailable.
Fire investigators were to be on the scene this morning to determine exact cause.
