Prince George’s summer swim team took advantage of familiar waters in hosting the 2019 Cariboo Regional Championships ahead of provincials.

The Pisces won 12 gold and 48 total medals at the Prince George Aquatic Centre, doubling the number of athletes that competed for the blue and white at 24.

Each local swimmer earned at least one medal at regionals.

The meet consisted of racers from swim clubs in Quesnel, the Nechako Valley, Mackenzie, Dawson Creek, and Fort St. John.

The winningest Pisces were Addison Evans and Brooklyn Fochler, who won two golds each in their respective age groups, the most of any other Prince George teammate.
