Highway 97 is now a four-lane stretch from Sintich Road to Simon Fraser Bridge.
Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Shirley Bond and Cariboo-Prince George MP Dick Harris announced completion of the work on Friday.
"Local commuters, visitors to our region and commercial vehicles operators will appreciate the improved traffic flow and increased safety along this stretch of Highway 97," said Bond in a press release.
