Highway 16 east of Slim Creek remained at single lane alternating traffic with pilot cars on Friday morning following Tuesday night's crash and fire of a propane truck.
"Road can be closed for extended period of times if incident becomes unstable," Transportation Ministry officials said in a updated posted at 5:54 am. on the Drive B.C. website.
Officials are also warning of slippery sections from 15 km east of Purden to Crescent Spur in an update posted at 8:19 a.m.
