A globally-recognized individual, known for his collaboration on the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), will be speaking in Prince George next week.

His speaker series at CNC’s Prince George campus, organized by the Federation of Post Secondary Educators B.C., will focus on land ownership, what he has witnessed for several decades, and how we can work towards reconciliation through the use of UNDRIP.
Diabo has an extensive resume that includes:
- Policy Advisor, Assembly of First Nations
- Secretariat, Algonquin Nation
- Senior Police Advisor, Algonquin Wolf Lake First Nation
- Editor & Publisher, The First Nations Strategic Bulletin
The 68-year-old will also talk about Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s record on Indigenous peoples’ rights.
The event in the Gathering Place is free to the public, beginning Monday evening at 6 p.m. with a reception.
Diabo will formally speak at 7 p.m.
By keeping Bennett in position of Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations proves to me PMJT & his gov't aren't being honest about their real intent Re: "reconciliation" & plan 2 continue w/ their Termination "Framework" Plan & process 2 impose a White Paper II policy by June 2019! pic.twitter.com/QnvDKiR6XY
