Buy a burger and help beat MS.

Today is Burgers to Beat MS Day at A&W restaurants across Canada.

It's the 11th annual campaign to raise awareness and funds to help those living with multiple sclerosis.

For every Teen Burger sold across the country today (Aug. 22), A&W Canada will donate $2 to the MS Society of Canada.

Over the last 11 years, A&W customers have raised more than $13 million for the cause — and the aim is to raise $2 million this year.

Canadian Olympian Christine Sinclair, a two-time medalist and Canadian women’s national soccer team captain, whose own mother has MS, encourages Canadians to rally together to help find a way to beat the disease.

An estimated 77,000 Canadians live with the disease.
