Cities full of food, music, fun and strong cultural roots. I think Montreal and St. John's, N.L., are next on the list.

Take the dogs to Duchess Park, night time snowshoe through the forests, or drop into the Two Rivers Gallery on Makerlab nights. My favourite event of the year is the Artswells Festival in Wells/Barkerville.
