What else can you say about Maria Mongomo right now except, well… En Fuego?
Mongomo was once again selected as a Canada West Star for the second week in a row and third time during the 2019-20 season to date.

The fifth-year guard was named this week's second star.
Last week, she was the third star after breaking former teammate Vasiliki Louka's record for most points-scored in UNBC Timberwolves women's basketball history.
In the sweep against the UNBCO Heat on Jan. 17 and 18 in Kelowna, Mongomo scored 30-plus points in consecutive games.
She's the first Canada West women's player in eight seasons to record back-to-back 30-point nights.
She made it a third this week on Friday (Jan. 24) when the Brandon Bobcats came to Prince George and got swept by the Lady T-Wolves.
Mongomo recorded 31 points, 12 rebounds, six steals and two assists in the 78-67 win on Friday night.
She'd follow up that performance with 17 points, 9 rebounds and two steals in the 93-60 win to earn the sweep of Brandon.
She also hit the 1,600-point plateau this past weekend, moving her into the top 10 all-time in Canada West history.
Mongomo has never finished outside the top 10 in conference scoring in her five-year collegiate career.
