Lheidli T'enneh First Nation election underway

There are two candidates for chief and 26 for eight council positions

Voting is underway Wednesday as Lheidli T'enneh First Nation elects its chief and council.

The polls opened at 9 a.m. and will close at 8 p.m. Votes will be counted at the First Nation's administration office after polls close.

Chief Dolleen Logan is running for re-election, challenged by Regina Marie Toth.

There are 26 people running for eight council positions:
