Local writer up for CBC award, again

Prince George writer Sarah de Leeuw is a finalist for a CBC Literary Award for the second year in a row. Last year she won the $6,000 prize.

Prince George writer Sarah de Leeuw is a finalist for a CBC Literary Award for the second year in a row.

Last year she won the $6,000 prize. This year she was one of 80 English writers shortlisted from among 6,000 entries from across Canada in both official languages. There are three categories in each language: creative nonfiction, poetry and short story. The nomination for de Leeuw is in creative nonfiction.
